Bikescapades

I took up riding in mid 2007. The first motorcycle I ever rode was a Suzuki C 50. I still own it. I rented the bike pictured above while in Arizona and enjoyed it immensely. Biking is great, no matter what vehicle one is straddling.
There's something to be said for the freedom and exhiliaration felt when riding. It doesn't matter where I go, there's just nothing quite like it.

Friends and Fun

I met Emily in 2006 at Cowgirl University. I was a member of the Cowgirl Hall of Fame Museum for a short while and received the information in the mail. I signed up and went that May. Emily's husband Bob bought her the retreat as an anniversary gift and we became fast friends. She listened to all my tales of woe, and I hers and that was that.

We both enjoyed the photography workshop and of course the french gourmet meals. Here are a few shots from that trip.

We've since hiked in Sedona and kayaked in the gulf among the dolphins!

Reading and Writing

Books of Late:

Sarah's Key

Great book. Set in France during WWII. It appears the French were accomplices in killing Jews... but their own brand of horror was the killing of children.

A must read.
